ASTM JIS DIN Pipe Fiting
Pipe fitting is the general name of the components in the pipe system that play the role of connection, control, direction change, flow diversion, sealing, support, etc.
All steel pipe fittings are pressure bearing pipe fittings. According to different processing technologies, it can be divided into four categories, namely butt welding pipe fittings (including welded and non welded), socket welding and threaded pipe fittings, and flange pipe fittings.
Common classification
There are many kinds of pipe fittings, which are classified according to their uses, connections, materials and processing methods.
By use
1. Pipe fittings used for pipe interconnection include: flange, union, pipe collar, clamp, ferrule, throat collar, etc
2. Pipe fittings that change the direction of pipes: elbows, elbows
3. Pipe fittings for changing pipe diameter: reducing pipe (reducing pipe), reducing elbow, branch pipe stand, reinforcement pipe
4. Add pipe fittings of pipe branch: tee and cross
